  1. When was this place, institution, organization, etc., founded?
  2. What individuals or groups created this place, institution, organization, etc.?
  3. What was the original purpose of this place, institution, organization, etc.?
  4. How did this thing evolve?

  • Do strategic Google searches, by putting your topic name in quotation marks. Add other search terms, such as Wisconsin, as well.
  • Search Wisconsin newspapers.
  • Check out state, local, and regional history books from Cofrin library.
